Tsumkwe Traditional Life
Skills Classes
The Tsumkwe Traditional Life Skills classes
offer children hands-on experience in
foundational Ju/’hoansi practices such as
hunting, beadwork, and other Indigenous
skills. These sessions play a crucial role in
preserving traditional knowledge by passing
it directly from elders to the younger
generation.
Ju/’Hoansi Language Lessons in Tsumkwe
Ju/’hoansi language lessons provided by an
elder to primary and high school students
after school. These lessons ensure that
young people remain connected to their
mother tongue, reinforcing fluency and
cultural identity in a structured learning
environment.
